365 days ago I became a mom to my firstborn son. They say it goes by quick, but my oh my, it really does slip away from you. Maybe it is that you are with them every day and don't notice their growth like others do. Day in and out you have the same routine and I think that makes time zip right by you.
He has been walking now since 9 1/2 months and loves to push anything that he can move. He started pushing a kitchen chair across the tile tonight, not sure why he didn't go for his car, but I guess he likes a challenge! I can't wait to see what the next year will hold for us and watch him grow and learn to communicate. What an awesome year of personal growth for Josh and I, and physical growth for our little man! He is huge! What a difference food, love and time can do for a little fella'!

We've been busy this week exploring, picking fruit, going to the fire station for a tour and swimming! We are still in the process of trying to find a house in Agra and sell our's in Stillwater, but we know that it will all happen in God's timing. I am getting really excited about it all and look forward to all of this new change!
In the meantime... we have been finding bliss in the simple things...

Agritourism is the name for this kind of thing these days... U-pick farms are popping up all over the place and I wanted to go and pick something, you know, like they did in the olden days.
I searched on this website and found a blackberry farm only 15 minutes away from us and when my dad and new step-mom came up for a visit last week we went out and picked over a gallon of fresh blackberries for only $15!
Solomon couldn't keep his fingers out of them and ended up staining his yellow shirt beyond repair, but it was all worth it. Blackberry ice cream and cobbler came from all of this and some really fun memories too!

We are in Lubbock visiting my family for the last time this summer and I just had to take a few photos of precious Solomon, poolside.
Katelyn:
I'm sure you're more than aware of this, but he has the most gorgeous blue eyes!

Sorry for the dizzying video of the graduations, I won't use the 85mm again in filming:)
Harold Clark:
I loved every second of it!! Solomon is getting so big and cute. I loved the part where he was pushing the play car. Enjoyed seeing the graduation ceremonies of Josh and Megan. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Love you all, Uncle Harold

Cute. I like when he's playing in the tub and it looks like he's protecting his toys from her. I wish I had a DSLR with video because a regular video camera just isn't as good.
