I have had several people ask about mini group Brainwash dates and I've decided to host two at my home in July!
A mini group brainwash is a small group (normally 3-6 people) who come to Stillwater for a 4 hour day and I teach them everything I can about photography and business in that time. I have opened up a Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday, July 14, 2012 is for PORTRAIT emphasis! We will talk about children, seniors and families in this workshop and will photograph one of them.
Sunday, July 15, 2012 is for WEDDING emphasis! We will talk about engagements and everything about weddings and will photograph a couple together. I will also talk about off camera lighting and flash in this class!
Here are some of the things that you will learn in both classes:
-how I shoot in manual
-my new photoshop techniques
-how I direct and pose people
-my lightening fast workflow
-watch me photograph and direct
Lunch will be provided and you will also get a new headshot taken by me!
Cost: $500
Location: Stillwater, Oklahoma
Time: 10 AM-2 PM
Who can come? Anyone that lives farther than 1 hour away from Stillwater! I don't want to clone myself for my competition:)

If I can get at least 3 people for each day then I will move it to the early 1900s schoolhouse on a farm 10 miles away from Stillwater, but if not then it will be at my house. We might go out and shoot at the farm regardless though!

Hey Lauren! I mostly do portraits, but I do have a couple weddings booked for early next year. I'm interested in both sessions, but do you think it would be redundant to take both classes? If I do decide on both, is there a discount? :) Thanks!

Yes! About half of the material would be redundant, the best thing to do would be to attend one of them and then do a one hour mentor session through Skype for the other information!

Kelly came down from the Dallas area to Lubbock for a Brainwash with my while I was in Lubbock last weekend and we had such a good time! I always take a few headshots of the people who come so that they can update their website and here are the ones that I got of Kelly!

Secily and Erik modeled for my Brainwash session with Kelly last Friday in Lubbock and boy did we have fun photographing these two! We found a lot of new locations and I felt so inspired by everything! I was on fire! hehe...

I've been in Lubbock since Wednesday and am headed home to Stillwater tomorrow morning. Solomon's schedule is FINALLY set in stone and this little guy is doing great! He's sleeping 6 1/2 hours a night and after letting him cry it out for 2 weeks he is only whining for about a minute before each nap now! Thank you Babywise for finally working!
