It's me! It's me! 35 + pounds and still growing!

Here is a recent photo of Josh and I from yesterday's Easter lunch with his family...

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and should be having this baby by the end of June!

The only thing I have left to do in the baby room is put up a curtain in front of the closet and birth my boy! I was so excited to be able to go to IKEA while I was in the Denton area last week and pick up the remaining things for his room: large sheepskin, 3 large frames and a curtain rod for the closet covering. Jenn Dungan (my sister-in-law's sister) also had our curtains and bedskirt ready for me to pick up on my way through Edmond. Josh had his drill ready when I got home and put everything on the walls for me and we were all of the sudden finished with the room!

Here is a list of the places where I got each thing...

Wall color: Valspar's Crafted White
Curtains, bedding and pillow cases: Jenn Dungan (super_mom_23@hotmail.com
Sheepskin rugs, clock, shelving, frames: IKEA
Baby Mobile: handcrafted by me! Paper airplanes made from comic books and a new bike rim hung by 40 pound fishing line.
Ceiling Decals: Etsy
License Plates, baskets, dresser and soda boxes: local antique malls

It has been a while since I've posted an update on my pregnancy! I can't believe that I'll be 30 weeks this Friday, and boy it has really flown by now that the Spring is here. I have the normal aches and pains of sleeping and waddling around, but it will be so worth it when I get to see my little boy in June! I have been holding out on buying any new clothes because I'm just trying to make it as long as I can without buying more XL sizes! I only have two pair of pants that fit right now, which is just no fun when they get dirty, and I pretty much always look frumpy. I am embracing the frump though and really enjoy the evenings when Sol is wiggling around like crazy and when I can see him thumping my belly.

He is almost 3 pounds according to my cell phone app and about 14 inches long. Wowzas.

So far I think Sol looks like he has Josh's lips and toes, and his Pop's nose!

Lauren, Sol has such pretty "kissy lips" as I call them. Korbyn had them when he was a baby too. I'm so happy you are joining the Mommy Club. Congrats!!!

This week has been such a whirlwind! We left for Kansas City last Sunday morning after we got the call that our friends went into labor and ended up waiting for 3 days before she had her... more on that next week when I have time to go through 800 + photos! We drove home late Tuesday night about an hour after Camille was born and the following afternoon had my good friends Ginny Corbett and Shari Henson stay for a short visit. I kept asking Josh what day it was yesterday because I just had no idea what day of the week we were sitting on! I'm glad that the weekend is finally here because it is my last one without anything to do for almost 2 months... and then I'll be birthing a baby! Wowzers.

Here is Solomon's baby bedding that my sister-in-law's sister made for me. I am in love with how it came out, if you are wanting custom baby bedding made then message me and I'll give you her info! We still don't have a mattress for the bed or the curtains and so it's not complete for another few weeks, but we are getting darn close!

I also sat for a few hours yesterday and made a river rock alphabet (I always get ahead of myself and buy/make things for when Sol gets to be about 3 or 4:) inspired by this etsy listing.

Everything is awesome Lauren, and it's great that you're getting ahead of yourself. When Sol is 3 or 4 you won't have the energy for these kinds of projects...and most likely you'll have 2 by then!! :)

I love the nursery Lauren! the only thing I think you havemissing are window treatments and It would be awesome to hav elots and lots of books! (and a glider to read to Soloman in) Cool books like Dr. Seuess, Cat in the Hat, Hop on Pop all those,! Reading to your hcild is one of the best things (but starting around the time they are a year is old the best. Im sure you can find some cool Bookends too! Love your style, i hope you submit it to Design Sponge when youre done!
