It was another lazy day of swimming and this time it was with Solomon's other cousins, River and Jonah.
My brother, Chris, and my mom held Solomon for me while I took photos of Great Gigi (my Grandma) playing the piano with Jocelyn.

Our second day in Lubbock was pretty packed with events! We all woke up and mom had a huge breakfast ready for is before going to church with her and Tim, then we all went swimming again, went to get ice cream with my dad, rode horses at Aleene's Stables (mom and Tim's 40 acres) and finished off the day spending time with my Grandma. It was a great day with lots of fun memories!

I've fed him over 300 times and changed 500+ diapers and now, after 6 weeks, he is rewarding me with the sweetest smiles!
P.S. Don't make fun of my gushing and the way I sing Skinamarinkidinkidoo, I didn't know he would really smile on camera!

After my brother drove me and Solomon to Lubbock last Saturday we were sure to get right in my mom's pool! It had been 5 weeks since I had been swimming and that was too long overdue for me in this awful heat! We had a wonderful cookout and Mom and Tim were just so happy to have all of the grandkids in one place for the first time. I even took Solomon swimming for the first time and he really liked it, he didn't even cry when I put him in the cool water. What a big boy!
Jackson conquered so many of his fears last week in the pool! He did awesome!
Jocelyn was a little dare devil in the pool! She even jumped off the diving board!

Josh's family is the all-American family; his mom is a Elementary School Secretary and his dad is a Lieutenant at the fire station in Stillwater. I've always loved that about them. His dad has been quite the hero and one of the things that I love about him is that he would risk his life for anyone, especially for his family. One of the biggest reasons that we moved back to Stillwater was because Josh wanted to be able to spend more time with his dad, and I'm glad that our son will have such a great example of a manly man as he grows up! Here are the photos of Sol's first trip to visit "Pops" at the fire station.

Aw. These piano shots make me think of my own grandmother. :) So awesome, Lauren.
