Josh and his dad drove to Frisco, Texas last weekend to buy my bed!! Mike was so kind to put it all together for when I came home this week. The Farm room is now complete!

Josh put up the mirror and the shelves last night in the living room and now all that is left is a ton of pictures and some decorations on the shelves. I love my house.

Josh has finished off the main stays in the living room with newly finished floors, kilz, paint, new trim, new outlets and a new door! We even bought new furniture since we sold our older stuff in a garage sale in Lubbock.

We still have a mirror to hang, 2 long brown shelves and some photos and then this beauty will be complete.

Remember the hideous before?

My dorky dogs are also always a part of the home photos. Like Meridian's cone of shame? This is from her spider bite surgery she had last week while I was gone.

ick. Let's not dwell on the past now.

The color in this room is Benjamin Moore's Wedgewood Grey if anyone was wondering!

Our house only has one full bathroom in it and I must assure you that going over to the in-laws to shower every day when we first arrived wasn't too easy, it felt like we were camping in our house! We spent about $2500 on this bathroom remodel including a hefty $500 plumbing bill to move the pipes a good 3 feet to the left, but now that it is done I LOVE it!

The only thing in this bathroom that wasn't tossed out was the 50 year old tub. It was in ok shape and we decided to save $300 and keep it! New floor tile, new subway tile, new window, new vent, new sheetrock, paint, vanity, toilet, light, and racks! Aren't my husband and his dad just amazing?

This was the first major "gut" in the house, all of the other rooms are completely new, but have not taken as much effort as this little bathroom. We picked the subway tile from tileclearance.com and the vanity and everything else from Home Depot!

Remember when it looked like this?

Do you see how the vanity and mirror are right up against the bathtub? Awkward! This is why we moved the toilet, light box, and all plumbing over three feet! I am really glad the icky linoleum is gone also.
