Chelsea and I go way back, so far back that I was just beginning my photography career when we met at a Bible Study...

How Chelsea found my blog:
When I was a freshman in college I went to a bible study that Lauren's dad hosted. I met her then and remember she took a ton of pictures that weekend, but I didn't realize she was a professional photographer. Fast forward a few years. In 2008 I had decided to start my own photography business. A friend of mine that also went to the bible study that weekend told me about Lauren's blog and I realized that I had met her 5 years earlier. I visited her blog that first time and was blown away by how amazing her images were. From then on, I stalked the blog, not really ever commenting (shame on me, I know!) In February of this year, I had the amazing opportunity to attend For the Love, an incredible, life changing week that Lauren was teaching at. I got to meet her again in Tennessee and loved how open and real she was just like she is on her blog. Her images and words continue to motivate and inspire me. You're awesome Lauren!

5 random things about her:

1) I have a weiner/beagle mix. We call her a weagle and her name is Izzy. She's pretty much the best dog in the world.

2) I love to ride roller coasters. It's just about the scariest thing you can do and still feel safe.

3) I am currently training for a half marathon, it's 13.1 miles. Not the most fun thing I've ever done, but I feel really great about the accomplishment.

4) I played soccer when I was younger and recently joined an indoor soccer team. I'm definitely a lot better in my head than I am in real life.

5) My husband and I just moved to Goldthwaite, Texas. It's a small town of about 1800 people in Central Texas. We came here because we prayed for the Lord to send us somewhere that has purpose and so here we are. And loving it.

Meet Erika. She is quite a blogstalker.

Very sadly I asked Erika to be the blogstalker of the month back in the spring of 2010. I was so busy moving and moving, oh yeah, and moving that I just kept putting off this beautiful blogstalker (and partly because I couldn't find my blogstalker frame on my computer:). My lovely designer, Matt Simmons, graciously remade my Blogstalker frame and we are back in business! To become next months blogstalker I just have to see you commenting more than the rest of us!

...
"A few basic facts first.....I am 24 years old.  I have been married for 3 years.  We are having our first child.  I have a degree in Food and Human Nutrition of which I plan to do nothing with.  And finally I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Fayetteville, Arkansas."

Here are 5 randoms facts about Erika:

1. I love Kraft mac n cheese (the spirals) cooked exactly the way the box tells you to.
2. I have jumped on board the 365 self portrait train and have no idea what day I'm currently on.
3. I wish I knew how to play the piano, well I just wish I was born with some sort of musical talent period.
4. I have a chocolate lab named Ellie that is my kid, well until the one in the oven is born! - Sept. 8th.
5. I'm terrible at doing my laundry. just terrible.

How Erika found my blog:

I found your blog about two years ago while I was searching for "southern" senior portrait ideas through google images.  I read into the Love Affair Workshop and knew from that moment on I would be lurking around your blog for quite sometime, as obviously I have.  I must say I'm going to be a little bummed that I won't be able to see a whole lot of weddings on your blog anymore, but I am pretty excited to start seeing more kiddos!  Good Luck Lauren!

Her blog, please stalk her:
