Josh's Grandma's favorite holiday was Easter and so every year Josh's mom always gets us Easter baskets, dyes eggs and gets the kids little gifts. It is so sweet that she still does all of this for her kids and grandkids in honor of her mom and grandmom. We went to Crescent, Oklahoma to church with PaPa and then had lunch at his house and Solomon loved rolling his new ball all over the house while we ate. It was a sweet time and I am so thankful for Josh's thoughtful family. I have been thinking a lot about Jesus' resurrection lately and the real reason for Easter, and I really wish that my heart was not so dull about Jesus' death for us to be brought near to God and to take the wrath of God for our sins. I mean, this is a big deal! I am praying for a more sensitive heart to understand the depth of the love that He has for us. I can't wait until Solomon is old enough for me to tell him about Jesus and the glorious reason for Easter weekend.
