Every once in a while Life Church asks me to photograph one of their Baptism Bash services, and I cry every time. I get especially emotional when the fathers baptize their sons... I guess it is just such an incredible thing and now that I have a son I can feel their joy! I love my church!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!
(07.25.11 @ 02:17 PM)somehow the camera seems to be my buffer at weddings and other emotional events as I concentrate on getting shots, but I tell you, there is something about a baptism, the flood gates open. I also enjoy shooting lifechurch's baptisms (okc campus) and usually have one eye open for shooting, the other closed and crying. God is good! Great image of the boy and his dad :c)
In other news, how is shooting going now that you have a little one? Are you able to leave him with someone else (I know this can be emotionally tough at first!)? I am trying to figure out how life will look after the baby comes, and how to schedule sessions as people keep requesting!
(07.26.11 @ 09:18 AM)I haven't had a session yet where I didn't take him (the newborn pics were a friend and so I took him). I'm planning all of my sessions around my husbands work schedule, but don't think I will be too sad to leave him:)
