My niece, Anna, had her first birthday party this weekend in Lubbock and I was so grateful to be a part of it. I hardly ever get to attend my niece and nephew's birthdays because I always have weddings to photograph, but with my new found freedom and not taking but 1 or 2 weddings per month I'm able to be more choosy and attend more family events... it's awesome.
