I went to stay two nights with my best friend, Aimee Braun, last weekend on my way back to Oklahoma from Lubbock, and what would a visit be without photos of her adorable boys?
Have you ever had a friend that you connect with and have almost mirrored their entire life? Aimee is that person with me. She is 8 years older, but we have had almost identical lives. Like me, she was homeschooled in junior high, her dad was a preacher, her parents divorced, she had a son with a Bible name when she was 25 and she now lives in a small country town. We laugh at all of our similarities. She will probably be one of my longest friends and I'm sure that we will talk about our children getting married in about 15 years (if I have a daughter, that is:). I love my friend Aimee, her husband Dave and her two boys Elijah and Ethan.
Here are a few from their session in a small community 45 minutes East of Abilene, Texas.
Oh Lauren, these are absolutely precious!! I have 2 boys and they love their dog. I would love to capture moments like this, but they run from the camera ;)
(02.25.11 @ 04:13 PM)Oh I LOVE the Brauns and I LOVE these pics, Lauren!!!
(02.25.11 @ 05:27 PM)Lauren, you do incredible work! I don't know how you get them to pose so well - even the animals cooperate. You always work your magic.
(02.25.11 @ 08:49 PM)How cute are they?? Love the one of them laughing! =)
(02.26.11 @ 03:41 AM)I am so blessed to have a friend like you...plus one that is an awesome photographer and captures memories like these....Bonus
(02.26.11 @ 03:40 PM)I simply LOVE these sweet pics! The one with the cat and dog is priceless! It cracks me up that this dog is perfectly posing and then with our lab you had to make all kids of noises just to get her to look up! LOL!
(02.28.11 @ 03:29 PM)Wow....most beautiful light and boys...ever. I would kill to have a pic of my boys like the bottom one.
