Last night when we were out at the land with Kayla, Kevin and the three Great Danes it really made Josh and I want to come back today with our's for a good hour of hiking. Well, we forgot that we had to take them to the kennel by 6 PM tonight and so we had to leave at 4 and hike in the 104 degree heat. yuck. It was worth it, but BOY am I looking forward to the Fall weather a lot more than this steam bath weather!!!
The empty creek and Josh with Meridian on a trail he carved with his weed eater and chainsaw. I married a mammoth of a man!
This special stick is so that we don't walk into these...
Meridian's gimpy leg must have gotten the better of her going up and down those trails.
London won't get far enough away from me for a good portrait.
Is this poison oak?
They sure were tired after that hike!
... did I just tilt two pictures in a row? yikes!
If you are wondering why there aren't a lot of pictures of me in this post, it's because I looked like this the whole time... this is what I look like as an Oklahoman.
Lauren, you are just too funny! Love your work! You are an amazing photographer. I love blog-stalking you, I mean, following your work, your life. You are such an inspiration to me in so many ways. You seem so real and open and I think we need more of that. Blessings to you and your family.
