I met Josh and Latoya downtown Oklahoma City last weekend for their engagement session and we found some really neat places! They are getting married in Norman in a few weeks and I can't wait to photograph their wedding and meet their families. Here are the faves...

Meredith was one of the first people that I photographed when I moved to Stillwater almost two years ago, she is such a bright spirit! She and I were pregnant at the same time and even went to lamaze classes together (this really torn down some walls... quickly!). She and Chris are getting married this summer in Tulsa and wanted me to do some photos of them and Olivia. We had a good time going around Stillwater for their session and their daughter, Olivia, is just PRECIOUS!

Anytime I travel I'm not drawn to the shopping and big city sights, but I'm always searching for the most remote nature park I can find! I found this Fort Pickens area at the tip of the gulf island and loved walking around it all morning before the wedding. It was a nice time to walk around by myself and soak in God's creation... and a little bit of history!

Last weekend I flew to Pensacola, Florida for this couple's fun wedding! When Rebecca emailed me about phtographing her Florida wedding I was so excited, I thought, "A beach wedding! I can get a tan!". When I asked her if it was a beach wedding she told me that getting married on the beach was too cliche'. I laughed, of course! That is like people thinking that since I am from Texas that we ride our horses everywhere and have handlebar mustaches. Boy am I glad that they didn't have a beach wedding because it was rainy and WINDY all weekend long! They were married at their church and it had a beautiful little wooded area behind it that I LOVED (I know, you can tell). Here are my favorites from this awesome couple's wedding!
