The Gibson family is the closest family to me here in Agra. I attended a Bible study with Tammy-Dawn, the mom, last year and realized that she was only 6 miles away from Agra! Her kids have been life savers in helping with Solomon and TD has been a lifesaver as a friend! This is the family that I wrote about several months ago who is adopting THREE Haitian children this year! Their adoption is signed and the will get the kids in a few months and so this is their last family photo before the kids get here!

They modeled for my Brainwash last weekend and it was sort of drizzling snow and I would say in the low 30s, MISERABLE temps! They worked through it for us though!

Solomon has grown so much in the last month! He is also harder to photograph because all he does is look at me with a furrowed brow and run away exploring... such a boy!

Here are a few milestones we've hit:
- says please
- says" lu yuh"
- finally kissed me!
- starts to sing his abc's
- says about 200 words
- can do an awesome impersonation of a pig and a horse
- loves books that have anything to do with cars and trucks
- says "TRUUUUUCK" anytime he sees a car or truck
- can make all of the mechanical noises of airplanes, cars, trucks, boats, etc...

He is such a delight and such a wonderful baby! We have hit a few rough spots with beginning the terrible two's phase and we are meeting it with the Positive Discipline methods and he responds perfectly to it and hardly EVER has a lasting fit unless he's tired (or wants the IPAD, he's addicted). If you haven't read the book Positive Discipline, I urge you to read it! It makes so much sense and I can tell you that it works!

Here is my country bumpkin...

Wow, he's gotten TALL! He looks like a little boy now instead of a baby.

Tonight I just wanted to take photos of Solomon, it has been a while, and I needed to put off the excuses of "no props, outfits or help" to do his photos and just shoot. The sun had gone down and the lighting was terrible, and so I decided to just take pictures of him doing what he does at night... go wild! Thank you to Josh for being a good sport and letting me take his photo all night too.

So over the Christmas break we were able to finish painting a few rooms!

We got the kitchen, playroom and ugly wall in the dining room finished! It feels like such a cuter house now that I have most of my stuff up and out of the closets and we only have a few more things to do before it is all done! We will remodel the bathroom sometime over spring break and plan on putting a backsplash, new countertops and new sink in the kitchen this summer. It is a great little budget remodel and we were able to spruce everything up with a few cans of paint and some new carpet in this little house!

That looks wonderful, especially the kitchen. I really wish i could transform my kitchen in to something like that. But, i am just waiting for spring to come, will start working that. Got a few ideas from Pinterest.

If I could bottle your creativity and talent up, I would drink it for breakfast. Everyday. LOVE, LOVE what you've done. When you're not busy with being a wife, mommy, friend and photographer...perhaps you could dabble in interior decorating?! :) Love you friend. And miss seeing you in Stillwater.

I love it, especially the sun room/play room. You are a talented person, just have an eye for what's beautiful!
