My hairstylist, Kristyn from Salon Scuplt, and her boyfriend, Cory from Thrift store Cowboys, had me come to their amazing adobe home and do a session before they moved. Needless to say, it was SO FUN!

I have never been able to take all of my own boys’ photos successfully. Silas is super tough and normally just up and runs away when I get my camera out, so I knew that I needed to plan it out a little bit more today if I wanted a successful shoot.
Here are my tips for what worked:
– do photos right after the baby has been fed
– make sure the kids are well rested (we did photos at 10 AM)
– feed them something with protein before you start so that they aren’t hungry or sugar crashing
– bribe them with candy!!!
– take the photos fast and keep them moving
The stars aligned and I got some ADORABLE pictures of all of the boys. I was so happy!
