Big News!

So over the last month or so Josh has been contemplating a secret job offer in Kansas City, Missouri.

We went up there for Spring Break and he decided to take the job!

We are moving in 6 weeks… with a 3 week old and a 2 year old, a career change and another state to grow my business in.

Pray for us! This will be a lot of change in a small amount of time, and I hope I can handle it all with some tiny kids added in.

I will still be doing photography and accepting some weddings in major cities with airports, and will only be accepting a few sessions per month so that I can raise my babies. I love change, and this year will be quite a tidal wave of change in our lives… to new adventures! It reminds me of the verse in the Bible that says not to plan for tomorrow, for you don’t know what tomorrow will hold!

Kayla, Kevin, Satine + 2

If you have followed my blog before then you probably recognize this couple! Kayla and I have known each other since 5th grade, she is probably my longest running friendship that I have other than cousins and her and Kevin are expecting TWINS this July!! They are going to be some really beautiful little girls and I can’t wait to meet them!

The Vickers

Sarah and her parents traveled up from Shreveport, LA last week for me to do her senior photos and a few family photos of her and her parents before she went off to college. This girl had some serious vintage style! She brought tons of fun outfits and we found some really neat places around Chandler, Oklahoma for her backgrounds. We had such a fun time running around and exploring and I’m so thankful that they drove all the way up here for photos with me! Here are some of my favorites!

Camille and Solomon

This week was Josh’s Spring Break and we went up to visit his best friend, Billy, and his family. They have two kids that are exactly three months apart from ours! It was cold the entire time that we were there and so Solomon didn’t get to go outside and explore as much as he normally does, but we did get to go out for a cold trip down the hill. He was so brave, climbing all the way up the horse pen and wandering really far away from me… kinda scared me! I need to buy one of those monkey leashes for him to make sure I don’t loose him when Silas is born. Solomon was in love with the beaded necklaces and insisted on wearing them every chance he got, I guess that’s what you get with a house full of girl toys!

The Pack Family

Cassy is an awesome photographer in Tulsa, Oklahoma and she contacted me about doing her family/maternity photos last week! We went down to the river and found some really neat things! You should have seen us both, two 8 1/2 month pregnant women, climbing down a steep hill to a smelly riverbank for a cool exposed net! It would be a good backup plan to send me into labor here in about a month. Here are my favorites!!

When I was 12 I began to write an autobiography that i titled,

"Lauren Lee, a horse of a different color".
