We moved Silas into a toddler bed last week and it was the easiest transition ever! Solomon was really tough, he would get down and cry at the door and we had to put him back in his bed over and over again, but Silas just laid there and went to sleep! It was a miracle. I’ve also been working with Solomon on potty training through his naps and that was also a breeze after the first day of fighting me over it. We still have several “hoops” to jump through before we get both boys sleeping in the same room through the night to make room for baby Sam next month, but with their progress I am hopeful that it won’t be to hard.
After a really warm two weeks here in Kansas City the temperatures are finally plummeting back into the 10-30’s for at least the next 10 days. Being 8 months pregnant I have not been the most fun mom lately, and with being on house arrest again I found an old box of art supplies and we just made a mess of the kitchen table with scissors, crayons, and water colors. We even used a cookie sheet and poured bubbles in it to make giant bubbles with one of the boy’s wire hangars, now that was fun! Midwest wintertime and being near the end of my pregnancy hasn’t been very eventful and I find myself just trying to pass the days away, but today was something special with my boys.
