Last night I got to photograph this amazing Dripping Springs family on their modern farm in the drizzling rain.
Rain? I’m not used to all this rain!! Lubbock had probably 5 rain days per year and I am going to need to learn how to improvise with the weather more often living down here in the Texas Hill Country!
Holly and Jeff were willing to withstand the sprinkles and gray skies to get their family photos done with their adorable daughter, Havana, and all of their farm animals.
Holly is the founder and CEO of Sanctuary Project, a non-profit that provides meaningful employment to survivors of abuse and trafficking. They sell GORGEOUS jewelry! I’ve been wearing my Sanctuary Project necklace for a month now and love it! Check it out here.
The “Paw Patrol” (Great Pyrenees) were out and about in the cow and goat pen and I hopped the fence and got clobbered with kisses and muddy paws.
Holly feeds her Scottish Highlander cows fritos! I thought that was so funny and genius!
Right at the end of the session the rain cleared up and we had the most beautiful sunset! Havana was out of smiles by then, but I knew I could get a good silhouette as a last photo with her. I loved how these came out!
Thank you Holly and Jeff for having me come out to your magical farmstead to capture your family!
