I don’t even know where to begin about this wedding. I’ve been looking forward to my trip to Muley Point, Utah for months now! When I met with Robin and her mom in Lubbock to talk about the logistics of the wedding I was so intrigued with this landscape she showed me through photos, to me, it looked like a wedding site on MARS!
Brice always said that he would get married with the view of the canyon on Muley Point, and Robin was the perfect bride for him. The ease and detail that these two pulled off while hauling their entire wedding site, catering and floral arrangements all the way from Texas to Utah in trailers, U-Hauls and SUVs was amazing. They literally drove up the cliff on jeep paths with their own stuff, set up camp, brought support staff (loving and creative family), cooked the food, set up the tents and microphones and had a wedding… on a cliff… 37 miles away from the nearest town.
I don’t think I’ve ever used the word because of how overused it is, but the word EPIC comes to mind when I think of this wedding. It was mind boggling. After 12 hours of photographic coverage, I feel like I captured the day, the beauty of the landscape and the love of this couple. I am so excited to show you this wedding! Now… off to get it published!
